The CNC models come in two sizes. The CNC 258 and CNC 355. They are the original models that earned Armattan the reputation of manufacturing frames that are tough as nails, yet affordable.
At first, these models used 6061 aircraft grade aluminium arms but only 1052 aluminium was used for the center plates. The original design had different cut outs in the arms and also different shape center plates. The parts were laser cut. The current models use V4 center plates and V2 arms. They are milled instead of laser cut and the center plates have been upgraded to 6061 aircraft grade aluminium.
The newly designed V2 arms allow for more torsional strength while actually cutting down on the weight. The new arms also offer better protection for the motors in case of a "hard landing."
These models come fully anodized with a choice of red or black arms. The anodizing process hardens the metal, and the full 6061 aircraft grade aluminium construction provides for a very sturdy platform that is also very resilient to conducting vibration. The result is a world-class acrobatic platform that can take a beating and live to tell the tale.
Just like all Armattan models, these models can be purchased as frames only, DIY kits (Kits includes electronics and all the hardware necessary to assemble them yourself), or fully assembled Receiver Ready which are referred to as RXR models.
