The ArmaTank is the response to the large number of requests we received to release a 4 inch props X model with a POD that supports 22xx motors. Our closest contender is the long time loved 155X model. But it only supports up to 18XX motors. I also think that the 155X would not fare well with 22xx motors in a crash so this is why it is limited to 18XX by design.
The ArmaTank 162 CF main plate is the toughest main plate of any of our models. I highly doubt anyone will break it, but if they do, it is covered and warrantied for life.
We added XT60 protection on this model, as well as the newest POD in our fleet, the UniPOD. The UniPod only weighs 7 grams!
Also featured on this model is our new CNC VTX mount. This allows for adjusting the VTX and antenna height. This means that your VTX is not attached to the top plate, and it also means you can have the antenna adapter set lower for added protection in a crash. The CNC VTX mount uses 2 x M2 grub screws to secure it at the desired height.
The main plate is an adaptation by Jason Hay. The VTX mount and the UniPod were designed by Matt Denham. A massive thanks to you guys. :)
